Married 21 Sep 1842 (17 Tishrei 5603) Amsterdam, Holland, age 24 years (married 48 years) to:  Jacob 'Isaac' Monis [I49], age by marriage 22 years, son of Isaac (2) 'Jacob' Monis and Trijntje 'Salomon' Polak.Born 25 Sep 1819 (6 Tishrei 5580) Amsterdam, Holland, died 12 May 1897 (10 Iyar 5657) Amsterdam, Holland, age 77 years, buried Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, Netherlands. Occupation: Porter, Merchant Jacob was born to Trijntje Polak 25 Sep 1819, before his parents' marriage and was therefore first registered as Jacob Polak. On 27.7.1820 Isaac Monis testified that he acknowledges Jacob as his son, born of Trijntje Polak and the child was registered as Jacob Monis. A few weeks later his parents married. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of the witnesses on the civil marriage certificate of Jacob Monis is Abraham de Souza Pimentel.
