The Germans threw her in a vanand justasthey wereabout to leave, they ran after a man trying to escape. She took that opportunity to climb out of the van and escape. 2. ‎Emanuel Pimontel‏‎ [I1327]‎ Born ‎16 Mar 1910 (5 Adar II 5670) Amsterdam, Holland, died ‎27 Sep 1988 (16 Tishrei 5749) Amstelveen, Holland‎, age 78 years Was interned with his wife in a Japanese concentrration camp in Indonesia, where they were living at the time. They suffered during thier internment,butsurvived.Afterthe war they returned to Holland, but soon left. They lived around the world , but came back to Holland to retire. They neverhad anychildren. 3.  ‎Abraham Pimentel‏‎ [I1329]‎ Born ‎30 Oct 1912 (19 Cheshvan 5673) Amsterdam, Holland, died ‎6 Oct 1942 (25 Tishrei 5703) Mauthausen Concentration camp‎, age 29 years, cause of death: murdered 4.  ‎Salamon Pimontel‏‎ [I1374]‎ Born ‎28 Mar 1914 (1 Nisan 5674), died ‎25 Jan 1943 (19 Shevat 5703) Auschwitz, Poland‎, age 28 years, cause of death: murdered From the letter of Peter Letschert. Deported by the Nazis and was never seen again. He was never married.
